Rolling stocks should meet the requirements of today’s transportation needs since it changes so fast
as regard to the developing technology and increasing demand for the mobility. The developments in
railway system technology is presented in this study to provide some information about the recent
ones such as fuel cell powered railway vehicle, maglev, double deck high speed train and projected
ones such as Hyperloop that could be used in the future. The ultimate purpose of the communication
is to bring the innovative railway technology either recent ones or projected ones as a whole to provide
a better perspective to reader.
